Terrorist plot foiled in the UK

The City of Manchester, England, has survived a scare as ten Arabs (with some reports indicating that there were connections to Al Quada) were arrested by police there under the recently passed Terrorism Act. Curiously, all the people had tickets to today's Manchester United game versus Charlton Athletic. Police and reporters have speculated that Old Trafford, Man Utd's fabled stadium a/k/a The Theatre of Dreams, was to be the target of a coordinated attack. This would be the worldwide equivalent of attacking Yankee Stadium and The Rose Bowl (combined). Additional measures have been put in place for Saturday's against rivals Liverpool. The BBC has further coverage of the story here...
