Coke has finally decided upon a successor for outgoing chairman and CEO Doug Daft. The WSJ reports that E. Neville Isdell, a former Coke executive and an Irishman nonetheless, will replace Daft when he retires sometime this summer. I previously commented on Coke's inability to secure Daft's replacement as a number of candidates withdrew their name for consideration. Coke is still leader in the multi-billion dollar soft-drink industry, but the company has certain lost some of its former luster. Let's hope Isdell gets the job done...
